Can you believe it is March? We certainly love the idea of spring being just around the corner! We’ve had a crazy week of snow and ice, so we have had to keep the boots and coats out for longer than we hoped.  Luckily last week we had some nice weather which was perfect for pulling out these new heels from Sole Society! They paired perfectly with this peplum fairisle sweater (make sure to check your local store for this as it’s super marked down!), classic white blouse and skinny jeans - all from The Limited. I finished off the look with this versatile necklace from Stella&Dot (new version here!) and Coach Legacy Haley satchel.

Happy Wednesday!

Hello Lovely Readers~

Today’s feature is about the wearing the boyfriend jean trend. This is one of my favorite weekend looks for running errands because it’s so comfortable. I chose to pair my jeans (The Limited, also in petities now!) with a semi-slouchy sweater, and a pendant necklace (Stella&Dot). A leather satchel and suede booties add the finishing touch to this on-the-go look.

Have you tried the boyfriend jean look? What are your favorite pairings?

Hello Lovely Readers~

Today I’m excited to talk about wearing printed coats! This is such a stylish, yet easy go-to look when in a hurry to get ready. Just pick out your favorite pair of denim or neutral colored ankle pants and top, then layer with a printed jacket and top it off with a statement necklace. Voila! You are out the door in no time, all while looking comforatbly chic! I picked up this jacket during a fabulous sale last year at Macy’s. It’s quickly become one of my favorites. While it’s not longer available, we’ve included some other fabulous printed car coats below.

Metallic Jacquard + Cranberry: Date Night with W

Hello Lovely Readers!

While the holidays are over, that doesn’t mean you have to put away all glitter and sparkle!  I love mixing metallic pieces, like these fabulous jacquard pants from LOFT, with monochromatic pieces to add a more casual vibe.  For this date night outfit I used a simple black button down and suede heels to tone down the outfit.  I’m always a sucker for cropped pants, so when I saw these at LOFT last month on sale, I had to get them.  I look forward to mixing them with cobalt - as well as magenta!  At the moment they are sold out online, but make sure to check the sale racks at your local store as there may still be some left.

Hope everyone has as fabulous weekend!

A Classic White & Black Dress Day with W

Hello Lovely Readers~

Today’s look features a no fail color combo: black and white. Going on and on about how black and white pair together for a seamless look is slightly boring, so let’s jump right into discussing the other features of my OOTD (sadly, it took me WAY too long to discover this stands for “outfit of the day”).

Purse: For those of you lucky enough to score this tote (came in both black and taupe) during the Phillip Lim for Target release, consider yourself lucky! I’m absolutely loving this bag! It’s the perfect combo of structure and chicness. I bought the taupe too and can’t wait to start styling it with my fall outfits.

Necklace: So I own a lot of jewelry. My husband would put the emphasis on a LOT. Statement necklaces are my latest obsession. Can you really have too many??? Well this recent find from the J.Crew Factory store is a must-have. Enamel black squares lined with gold outlined rhinestone creates a lovely necklace that adds a feminine touch without being too dressy. I think my jewelry box is calling the coral version to be added to the family!

Lipstick: I own a wide array of makeup, but lipstick never really entices me that much. However, while I was browsing Target during a late night grocery run a few weeks ago, I saw this bright pinky purple shade of L’Oreal lipstick from across the aisle. It reminds me of a shade I’ve wanted from MAC, but hadn’t splurged on it yet. After only wearing this a few days, I’ve already received several compliments. It is a special edition item, so make sure to check out your local Target store asap!

On a personal note, our posts have been a bit infrequent lately due to my sister L having her baby last week!!! We will have a full post about all the details (and amazing pictures) up on the blog soon! It’s just been hard to get a lot of pictures lately. But of course, we are storing up lots of great fall outfits to display soon!

Have a wonderful weekend!
