Today is the first day of June which in our book means it is SUMMER! Outdoor barbecues, picnics, long days at the pool, and vacations are now officially on the way. Whether you have a college graduation to attend, bridal luncheon, baby shower, or family reunion photos – a summer dress is the perfect answer! Lindsay and I love that our families live so close to one another so we get to see each other often. It’s always so much fun to have our three girls play together. One place they love is the Myriad Garden in downtown Oklahoma City. It’s a huge square block of lush gardens, water features and the famous indoor Botanical Gardens which is one giant greenhouse full of tropical trees and plants. It was the perfect setting for us to have some delicious berry sodas and show off these stunning new arrival dresses and tote bags.

1. Wrap Dress: This timeless style is back this summer in stretchy knit fabric and breezy sleeves. It is a silhouette that looks good on everyone too! This navy cutout sleeve option is so pretty on and so soft. We just ordered this polka dot dress too!

2. A-Line: This style of dress is flattering on so many body types. We love how Ann Taylor has made this style in many different lengths and pattern options this season. Here’s a few of our favorites in this shape.

3. Shift Dress: Everyone loves a cute shift dress! Whether you prefer one that is sleeveless or with sleeves, here’s some oh so cute options that are sure to be a crowd pleaser. Lindsay’s Summer Dress Look

For today’s #feelslikesummer post, Lindsay is wearing this gorgeous bright blue Flutter Sleeve Wrap Dress. It’s made from the softest fabric and also comes in regular and petite sizes. The blue color sold out so fast during the last week but a few sizes have been popping back up so make sure to keep checking! The exact same style comes in a gorgeous olive too. We are definitely ordering it! For some pops of color, Lindsay picked out this oh so cute Straw Raffia Tassel Tote paired with this Island Floral Silk Skinny Scarf. We love the combination of pink, blue and orange together! Tan wedge sandals and pink wrapped ball statement earrings finish off her look.

Whitney’s Summer Dress Look

As soon as I saw this bold Marigold Ruffle Wrap Dress in the new arrivals section, I knew it was meant to be! While my favorite color is purple, yellow is actually one of my very favorite colors to wear. The combination of the midi length and flutter sleeves makes this dress comfortable yet flattering. It’s fully lined too but still very lightweight making it perfect for travel and packing. We love that Ann Taylor also made this dress in sizes 0-18 and in petite sizes as well. To accessorize my sunshine yellow look I added in this Straw Pom Pom Tote and this adorable Lemon Silk Skinny Scarf around my neck. The blue, orange, yellow and green print helps tie this flowy dress and on trend straw bag together for a look that can’t help but make me smile!
