We hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We’ve teamed up with Laura of Walking In Memphis in High Heels blog today to share some things we are loving for spring plus an amazing GIVEAWAY! So with March just a week or so away, we are feeling the itch to bring out all our spring clothes plus find new items to mix and match with to create some new looks. Last week we had a really gorgeous weather day so it was the perfect time to actually wear the 5 trends we talk about it today’s post! Who’s ready for bright colors, gingham, distressed denim, booties, and crossbody bags!?

Without further ado, here’s some of the many trends we are loving for spring!
1. Bright Colors – This goes without saying, but we always LOVE hot pink for spring and summer. This color of pink looks good on everyone! From casual to fancy, you definitely have to give it a try. For today’s Sister Style post, I’m wearing this adorable ruffle sleeve blouse from CeCe at Nordstrom. Their newest collection has so many cute pink pieces.
2. Gingham Print – We love gingham print items for year round wear, but especially when the spring season hits. Today’s look features this oh so cute ruffle blouse {in the same style as the pink} that is so cute! From dresses to skirts, scarves to tops – there’s no wrong way to wear gingham.
3. Distressed Jeans – So this is not a new trend by any means, but we are enjoying all the new distressed jean styles that have come out the last few months. The two pairs we are wearing today are some of our new faves for sure. My Old Navy pair run true to size or just a tad big. Definitely size up in the pair Lindsay is wearing as the run small. The high rise fit on both are awesome!
4. Transitional Booties – In February and March there can still be a wide range of temps. So we are still going to be wearing our fave booties for sure. Lindsay’s pair that she has on today is a perfect transitional style. The leather doesn’t look too winterish and the cut of the boot is very flattering at the ankle. We highly recommend them!
5. Mini Bags – Last but not least, we are all about mini bags for spring! These oh so cute bags from Vera Bradley are new favorites. We love the crossbody style and durable leather. Here’s some additional mini bags we are eyeing!

How do you even decide?! 😍 I’m in spring/summer mode so possibly a throw blanket for the beach or even a beach towel; however, you can’t go wrong with a duffle bag for weekend getaways! Love it all! ❤️
