W and I were going through some pictures over the weekend and realized we had not yet posted this maxi dress date night look. As you all have probably picked up on, we both have had a thing for maxi dresses lately. Compared to previous years, it seems as though retailers have come out with a wide array of options in varying fabrics so they are not just limited to a summertime look. This dress is not longer available on the Old Navy.com site (it sold out SO fast) but we’ve included a few other options in the shopping links below.
This dress is hands down one of the most versatile I have purchased this year. The fabric is comfy and the dolman sleeve style is spot on with trends (but not so much that it will feel out of season in a few months). The ¾ sleeve length makes it perfect for year round wear. While I paired it with a faux fur vest for this particular look, I’ve loved mixing and matching it with bright scarves, my trusty cargo vest, and blazers. A dress that can go from day to night and still be comfy – that’s something both W and I will always agree on!
