As my sister L knows, I love leopard on about any clothing item or accessory. But two rules: 1) I don’t suggest wearing two leopard print items together in one outfit, and 2) make sure you don’t look like you took something from a 12-year-old’s closet. Cheap, fuzzy fabrics and neon colors can take your look from A+ to oh not so classy.
So now that we have that out of the way, here’s the basis for my “safari chic” ensemble: mixing a little bling with my favorite print. But to keep it all from looking too fussy, I paired the items with my easy going Limited black skinny crops and tan canvas jacket from Old Navy. I love how the ruffle collar adds some pop and shows off the statement necklace. Pair with heels or flats and some gold bangles – finished off with a swipe of coral or peach lip color – and you are set for an adventurous day!
