Hello Friends!
I’m so excited to share a new room reveal featuring my older daughter’s modern + glam blush bedroom! She loves all things pink, unicorn and sparkles so I wanted to make sure to include all of these things when creating her new room! And of course I love blush velvet, crystal chandeliers, gold accents and canopy beds so this beautiful new room makes us both very happy!
If you read my modern glam nursery reveal earlier this month, then you already know that we made over a huge art room {built by the previous owner} into two bedrooms for our girls this summer. We had to work with the existing windows {hence the narrow size} but we were able to use all three windows in this room vs just one in the nursery. I love how much light her windows let in! We had enough room to create a custom closet too which I know she will appreciate as she gets older. There is a hallway that connects this room to my baby girl’s nursery. They will have a stunning blush + gold bathroom to share in a few months too but we haven’t quite been able to get to that project yet.
Design Overview
This girly glam room was designed from scratch and the Live Original Creative Interiors duo Annie & Regan helped me pick paint colors, carpet and this lovely room theme. They are so talented and I absolutely loved working with them! They truly make the process so much fun and are able to help and little or as much as you want when it comes to creating your dream space. No project is too big or small for these talented ladies!
Now for some more room details! These blush velvet drapes from Soft Surroundings are amazing! The quality is so good and they are black out thickness which is always a huge plus. I also used matching velvet euro pillows on her bed to bring in touches of the same shade of pink. How fun is white white canopy bed? Not only is it affordable but comes in multiple sizes too! I definitely recommend it! This rug is also very affordable and is actually from Target, It’s been on my wish list for some time so I was so excited to see the tones of it matched the velvet pillows and curtains.
As far as accessories go, my daughter loves this oversized heart pillow and shiny unicorn lamps. I also added in some artwork on her nightstands that are from Minted! I love how you can order the prints in a range of sizes and frame colors. So you can pretty much have anything custom made for your space!
When it came to finding the main lighting source I spent hours browsing online and on Pinterest for the perfect chandelier! I wanted something under $400 and that would be in style for years to come. Thankfully Annie & Regan came across this stunning crystal chandelier and knew it would be perfect for her room! I’ve been so happy with it! My husband said it wasn’t very hard to install either so that’s always a plus. I’d totally love one in my room too!
