With Christmas just a week away, it truly is the happiest time of the year! We love the holiday season as it is full of things Linds and I always enjoy: holiday parties, Christmas lights, family celebrations, candlelight Christmas services, festive food and of course finding gifts to give to our loved ones! Before we get to all that, we have to share one more reason why we love the month of December so much! As you may not know, Lindsay and I are are adopted! Our parents found out just two weeks before Christmas that they were next in line for a baby!!! The adoption agency shared the good news and our parents couldn’t believe the time had come to finally have the family they had dreamed of for so long.

But not only was there one baby – there were TWIN baby girls that needed a family!!! To this day, they say that Christmas was the best one ever. It truly was a Christmas miracle!! As we shot this sister post together over the weekend, Linds and I couldn’t help but feel so grateful for each other, our amazing parents, brother, grandparents, husbands, and our daughters. This time of the year is such a great reminder of truly what matters.

Lindsay’s LOFT Cute & Cozy Holiday Look

It’s safe to say that we both love all things fairisle. As soon as this sweater came to our local store we had to grab it! It can be styled several ways and is so cozy. Lindsay paired it with distressed jeans {size down} that have great stretch and are super comfortable. We can’t recommend them enough!

For accessories Lindsay is wearing a dark gray cable knit beanie hat, pearl stud earrings and Chelsea boots in dark gray. Oh and we can’t forget this adorable white puffer jacket featuring faux fur trim around the edge. It’s very lightweight but still warm. It would be the perfect coat to pack as well. Lindsay is wearing her usual size XS here so we’d say it runs true to size.

Whitney’s LOFT Cute & Cozy Holiday Look

As soon as I saw this bright pink bell sleeve sweater debut last week I knew it was a closet must have! It comes in several colors and runs true to size. I decided to size up for a bit more length and relaxed fit. For some extra color I layered it with this new gingham print blouse. The fabric is lightweight and the blouse is so cute on its own or paired with a vest, cardigan or sweater. My distressed jeans come in regular, tall and petite size options. They have great reviews online which is no surprise!

For accessories I went with this speckled pom pom hat, gray sparkle earrings and the same Chelsea boots as Lindsay {they are available in black too}. And of course no winter look is complete without a coat. This white puffer jacket goes with so much. I can’t wait to style it with athleisure looks too.
