It’s finally getting chilly here in Oklahoma City which means it’s officially time for layers! We love the fall and November is definitely one of our favorites months {aside from December since that’s our birthday month and Christmas too of course}. For today’s sister style post we thought it would be fun to talk about some winter basics and wardrobe staples we use all the time.

Let’s start with Lindsay’s Pink + Leopard Look!
Lindsay’s Outfit Details
Now that it is layering weather here, we are all about soft, cozy and affordable cardigans! This pocket front cardigan just got marked 40% off making it just $35 plus free shipping! This bright raspberry pink is even prettier in person. You will get so many compliments on it! If you want something more subdued, not to worry. This style comes in black and navy too. It runs true to size as well.
Now it’s time to talk bags! As you all know we love Tory Burch so much. Her timeless yet modern styles are our fave. The York tote is no exception! Linds has had this York Tote bag for nearly two years and it still looks brand new! It fits a laptop in it and so much more. The interior center pocket is great for keeping papers in or makeup that you don’t want floating around. Nordstrom just reintroduced this style after it being sold out for nearly a year and we are so glad to see all six original colors available.
When it comes to black jeans it feels like we’ve tried them all! We finally came across a pair that is not too long or too tight and we can’t recommend them enough. The pair I’m wearing today are from Topshop sold at Nordstrom. The 30 inch length is great and the high rise fit keeps everything slimmed and doesn’t stretch out through the day. They do run small so make sure to go up a size.

Now that the temps are cooler and rainy days are the norm, it’s time to get the boots out! We have had Hunter boots for years and love them. While we like the glossy styles, we have to say that the matte black style is so versatile and perfect for wearing all winter long. If you live somewhere cold, we recommend getting Hunter boot socks to help keep your feet warm. This way they can even be worn in slush and snow!
As far as sizing goes, they do run big. Linds wears a 7.5 and gets a 7 in these. I wear an 8.5 and get an 8. So if between sizes we suggest going down to the next whole size in these boots since half sizes aren’t offered.

Whitney’s Outfit Details
For today’s comfy casual look that doesn’t sacrifice on style, I’m wearing this new blouson sleeve sweater that is so soft and ships for free. It runs true to size and comes in four gorgeous colors. I couldn’t decide between the teal or raspberry. They are both so pretty! Linds has on the raspberry shade in our try on post from this week if you want to see it too.
This cozy scarf is just $24 and will go with so many different outfits. It’s already been a fave on Instagram so definitely grab it here before it sells out! The neutral colors make it so easy to mix and match with.
