Happy National Best Friend Day!!
This is a holiday that seems made just for us LOL! We’ve been best friends since birth and are so thankful to have each other as sisters! We’ve teamed up with Sole Society today to celebrate this fun day plus show you all some brand new summer arrivals that we are loving. Before we share about our oh so cute summer looks, here’s just a few of the many times we were so thankful to have a best friend by our sides!
1. When we started our blog, we picked out the name together and agreed we would always be the “double take”girls because we love that we look alike and people can’t always tell us apart!
2. Tackling the craziness of fashion week. Having a BFF is definitely a must have!
3. Helping each other with our Valedictorian speeches {we both had the same GPA and numerical grade average!}
4. Leaving home for the first time to attend college! Being roommates was the best!
5. Going on blind dates – and meeting our husbands!
6. Getting married {three years apart} and being each other’s Maid/Matron of Honor 🙂
7. Having our precious little girls {Lindsay has a 4 year old girl, and I have a 5 and 8 year old girls} and being their when each of them were born. Definitely days we will never ever forget!
8. Running TheDoubleTakeGirls blog together! Such a crazy adventure for sure and we will always be grateful for it.
Needless to say, celebrating National Best Friend Day is such a great reminder of all the love, sacrifice and amazing adventures we have had over the years!
