When it comes to spring staples, trench coats are a must! The temps in April can range from the 30s {the temps we shot these looks in LOL} to 70s. Lindsay and I are always prepared with a layering piece like these oh so cute trench coats that we styled today. Banana Republic has THE cutest jacket options right now. Lindsay’s Look
For today’s look Lindsay paired this chambray and navy polka dot jacket (c/o) with a white blouse, distressed jeans and simple white heels. Don’t you love the pop of pink with her tassel earrings and bag? This jacket has wonderful tailoring and the cutest stripe lining that peeks out when you roll up the sleeves. Linds is wearing her normal size xs here so we would say it runs true to size.
Whitney’s Look
As soon as I saw this bow tie sleeve jacket (c/o) I knew it was a closet must have! I love how Banana Republic took the classic trench style and updated it with the puff sleeve silhouette and feminine tied sleeves.
The jacket is fully lined and comes in both regular and petite sizes. I paired this subtle statement jacket with distressed jeans, gingham blouse and my favorite pink heels. The beauty of a well designed trench coat is it does all the work for you!
