We can hardly believe it’s that time of the year again where we get to talk all things Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2022!! As many of you know, Whitney and I have covered the sale for years, and it’s one of the shopping highlights of the year. We LOVE the fabulous deals on new fall and winter items and reviewing all the must haves for you all too!
We want to make sure we are all ready to shop the BEST sale so today’s post will cover all we know so far + our top 15 tips to shopping success! Plus we have some SNEAK PEEKS for the sale to share with ya’ll!! Nordstrom is still keeping the shopping dates segmented by the level of Nordstrom rewards you are so that seems like it’ll be here to stay from here on out. One change is is Icon members will only get one day to shop the sale in advance of Ambassador level club members.
This year they are opening up the anniversary sale PREVIEW to everyone on JUNE 29th (tomorrow)!! This means regardless of being a Nordstrom card holder or a member of the Nordy Club, you will be able to see all of the merchandise included in the anniversary sale!
We’ve also been able to confirm that tops faves will be included again this year like Kendra Scott accessories, Spanx faux leather leggings, Eliza J Dresses, Ab Jeans, Dolce Vita booties, Beauty Bio sets, Barefoot Dreams blankets (new colors!), Kurt Geiger bags, Michele watches, Olaplex, Charlotte Tilbury, Uggs, designer denim and more!!
Some other exciting news is that they’re adding more new brands to the anniversary sale for 2022! This sounds like it will be the biggest sale to date! We are excited to see everything that will be included!

**Also we are glad that Nordstrom is still going to be utilizing the wish list feature which means you can save all of your favorites from the anniversary sale preview!**
And then as soon as you’re Nordy Club tier opens up at 12:01 AM EST, you can go straight to add everything to your cart with a simple click without taking the time to go back in individually to add all of your favorites. So it’s definitely a great tool to utilize when shopping the sale!

Tip 1: Get a Nordstrom credit card so you can get extra points for when you shop the sale! The day you can shop will depend on how much you’ve spent for the year and earned in the free Nordy Rewards program! It takes about a week for them to mail the card to you so definitely call the 800# {or go to your local Nordstrom or NordstromRack store} asap.
You can also ask them to expedite your card so that you have it in time for the sale. Otherwise they should be able to link your card number to your login so that way you can still access it if for some reason the sale starts before you have the card in hand.
NOTE: We did hear that this year will be different in that ALL purchases during the pre access sale dates will have to be on your Nordstrom debit or credit card. In the past this wasn’t mandatory.
Tip 2: Save money now. Okay that sounds easier than it is. But what we mean is maybe hold off on spending money on any non necessary shopping purchases because you will definitely find SO many things that you want at the anniversary sale.
Tip 3: Set a budget for how much you want to spend. Stick to it once the sale starts! Luckily there are several pay days that hit during the length of the sale, so you might want to set aside an amount to shop at two times during the sale. Also, you can always return items if they don’t work for you or you spent more than intended.
Tip 4: Write out a list of the items you wore the most last fall and winter as well as items you gave as gifts. Use this list to help guide your purchases once the sale starts. Boots, sweaters, jeans and jewelry were at the top of our list – as well as makeup and hair care items. The sale starts a bit later in the summer this year so it will be nice to be a bit closer to fall!
Tip 5: Make a list of items that sold out last year that you weren’t able to grab in your size. For us it was several tops from the Leith and Gibson brands, the always popular Nike running shoes, B.P. leopard shoes, Zella leggings, Tory Burch shoes, Ab Solution jeans, Barefoot Dreams cardigans, Patagonia vests, Free People tunics, and several items from the Kendra Scott collection that were made specifically made for the anniversary sale.
*While some restocks do happen, it’s very slim and often didn’t include any items on our wish list.
Tip 6: Read old blog posts from your fave bloggers {which hopefully includes us LOL} to get an idea of what will be included. You can see two of our most popular 2021 NSALE posts here. We did SO many try on sessions to help you all find the best options!
Tip 7: Set your alarm if you plan to shop the sale online! In past years it’s always been at 11:59pm PST. But last year they changed it to the middle of the day which we loved. For 2022 it is now back to 12:01am ET this year!
Tip 8: If you plan to shop in store, definitely contact your personal stylist if you have one! They may be able to pull items for you on the preview day and have it ready for you once you arrive. This will save you lots of time! Some of them may even offer to send you photos in advance too. We have a stylist and she’s amazing!!! It’s a free service too so definitely take advantage of it. You can easily book a time slot online HERE!
Tip 9: If you are an Icon level Nordy Club rewards member than you get some extra special access! Starting July 6th you will be able to shop in store and online and have one full day of shopping before level 2 {Ambassadors} bet to shop! You will get to see and purchase all the new Anniversary sale merchandise before all the other card holders!! Make sure to sign up for their FREE rewards program HERE.
Tip 10: For those shopping in store, we suggest taking a phone charger, water bottle and extra snacks. You will be there much longer than you plan, trust us! We always go to Dallas to shop since Oklahoma doesn’t have any Nordstrom stores. We always have dead phones by the end of our fun sister shopping excursion.
Tip 11: Get gifts for the upcoming holidays! The Anniversary sale has some of the best under $50 gift items that you will see all year. From throw blankets and candles to serving trays and coffee table books, the Nordstrom Anniversary sale home section definitely doesn’t disappoint.
Tip 12: Don’t forget to check the makeup section. We suggest going there first {and the shoes too LOL}! The special edition items and value kits always go SO fast. The MAC lip kits are on the top of that list for sure. We can’t wait to get the Oribe kits this year as well as the Charlotte Tilbury kit. It looks amazing!! Tip 13: Download the LikeToKnowIt app HERE and follow us! We will be posting tons of additional try on photos there which you’ll be able to shop immediately! The app will make it so easy for you to see everything we have posted that is sale related if you don’t have time to read our blog posts prior to each time you check out. Remember this sale is almost 3 weeks long for rewards members and 11 days for everyone else {public shoppers}.
Tip 14: If you don’t like something, don’t worry! There’s no expiration date on returns, which is absolutely amazing. Plus returns are FREE! We wish all stores had the same policy!!
