Happy Wednesday! We can’t believe the official start of the fall season is this week! We love all things cozy, pumpkin scented and of course gem-tone hued. Lindsay and I thought it would be so fun to kick off the season with our very first Fall Favorites post! Last week we had the chance to stop by one of our very favorite local stores: On A Whim! This oh so cute boutique is located at Classen Curve in Oklahoma City. We spent the afternoon browsing for our 10 must have items that are all currently available at their store. Plus stay tuned to the end of our post for details on a special event + promo coming up on October 6th!

Our Top 10 Items for Fall:

1. Candles – As major fans of NEST candles, we always love when they come out with new scents each season. They just debuted a delicious smelling new candle scent: Sugar Cookie! Plus the oh so yummy Pumpkin Chai is fully stocked too! These would make perfect house warming gifts or presents for your BFF, children’s teacher and much more. How cute is the packaging?




2. Jewelry – When it comes to jewerly, Lindsay and I love it all! From delicate to bold statement pieces, you can find so many fabulous options at On A Whim. Did you know they carry pieces from Gorjana and Sydney Evan? We love the tassel earrings and adjustable necklaces from Gorjana. They all mix and match together so well too. If you love sparkly things then you will absolutely adore the “love” necklace by Sydney Evan. We love how dainty they are but still very eye catching.


3. Rebecca Minkoff Bags & Clothing – We are huge Rebecca Minkoff fans and loved getting to see her latest collection while in NYC for fashion week at the beginning of the month. On A Whim sells so many of her fabulous bags {and clothing too}. If you are looking for a great statement purse or everyday bag, definitely come check out the selection they have in store. It really helps to see it all in person and try them on too.

4. Voluspa – On A Whim offers this luxurious yet affordable candle line. The ingredients for each scent are sourced globally and the packaging is exquisite! Once you find your personal favorite, your home can’t ever be without it! We also love giving these as gifts year around.

8. Baby Items & Gifts – We always have several baby showers and birthday parties to attend in the fall. 9. Michael Aram – As soon as you walk to the back of the store there are some stunning silver and gold pieces that immediately grab your attention. From ornaments and bowls, frames to serving pieces – all of the expertly designed pieces from Michael Aram’s collection are definitely statement makers.

10. Clothing – On A Whim’s buyers work non stop to find the best clothing items to stock in their store. We love how there’s a fabulous array of both casual and dressy options. Rebecca Taylor, Velvet, AG, RAILS, Rebecca Minkoff, Alica and Olivia, FIFTEEN TWENTY, and Joie are just some of the many amazing brands offered in the store.
