Happy New York Fashion Week 2017!! We are SO excited to be going back for NYFW a 3rd time this September! And who doesn’t love fall in in New York? Â We can’t wait to see the upcoming collections to be released and see what trends are in store for spring and summer 2018! As for what we are packing, Whitney and I always try to coordinate our outfits so the styles and colors are cohesive. This can be somewhat of challenge, but we are always up for a sister style challenge! We tried to keep it classic with a pop of color and detail this year! We are obviously packing way too many outfits per usual, but we wanted to share some of favorites with you before our flight on Thursday. So, let’s get started!
Dresses / Skirts
For dresses this fall we are seeing trends in midi lengths, sheer detailing, bell sleeves and lace! We are so excited to wear the grid print midi with cold shoulders, this floral bell sleeve dress c/o, and this metallic pleated skirt (click widget below to shop). We can’t wait to share two surprise dresses we will be wearing at the kate spade new york presentation as well! Stay tuned for some gorgeous red + floral!! We are totally loving all these details in the current Self Portrait collection. We can’t wait to see which Self Portrait dresses are photographed for street style! We wish we had some packed to wear, but a girl can dream! 🙂
Booties
For booties, we are going all out with fall/winter styles since the weather is predicted to be mid 70’s (yay!) vs the oh so hot temps of last September. We are taking velvet booties, suede booties with detailing, classic black leather, taupe neutral ones, as last but not least – leopard booties of course!
Bags & Heels
For bags, we couldn’t forget to bring along our statement red Tory Burch Fleming bag, easily convertible kate spade new york byrdie bag, and our Rebecca Minkoff Love cross body bag. We also found some oh so fun furry heels, leopard block heels, and tan suede heels to take along!

That denim jacket is so cute! And I almost got those baublebar earring but I went with furry ones instead 🙂 I can’t believe we didn’t meet up again. Ugh. Next time…
