Happy Tuesday!
For today’s outfit, I’m wearing a fun combination of plaid and pink for a spin on the traditional riding jacket ensemble. I purchased this jacket at The Limited last month and have been so eager to wear it. It features small patch pockets and a mixture of blue, black and hunter green – giving it endless possibilities of secondary items to match it with. I decided to wear it with one of my new favorite items – Sugarlips’s Wendy Darling Blouse – to provide a pop of femininity thanks to the pale pink shade and the flowy fabric. To give the jacket some definition, I topped it with a skinny pink belt that compliments the collar of the blouse. While most of our outfit pics turn out decently well…I have to admit, I’m not liking how these jeans look in the pictures. One of the perks of taking daily outfit shots is sometimes you find out items that you thought looked good on you are really not doing much for you, or actually look bad. These jeans are a great example. The color should be darker to create a slimming effect and the faded horizontal lines are also not helping me either. Eek! So alas, these will be put into the consignment pile and will make way for a better pair of skinny jeans that are calling my name.
